If you stayed 7 nights in 2010 we'll take $70 off your next stay in 2010 or 2011.
We give return renters first right of refusal for the following year (for the same dates). That first right of refusal will last for 30 days after their stay ends this season. |
Refer a friend and let us know before the contract is sent. If they end up renting you'll earn $10 per night that they stay. This is calculated exactly like return renter discount.
Go with another family twice a year and use this to your advantage. One time you book the next time they book. That earns you the $10 per night return renter and another $10 per night they rented. |
Fill-the-gap between two consecutively rented weekends and get the same per night rate as if you were renting for a week.
For example a week rental of $2170 comes out to $310 per night ... that's your rate, saving you $40 per night (plus tax and cleaning). Add a return renter discount and save even more. |

All the discounts are designed to promote word of mouth advertising so we don't put any limits on the discounts. For book keeping purposes the only limitation is they have to be used the same season or the following season. Keep building them and you can earn a free rental.
BOOK BEFORE JAN. 1st and beat any price increases. Add this to your "return renter" discount and "refer a friend" discounts to save even more money.
** All discounts are good only for return renters who are in good standing ... i.e. we returned you full security deposit without any question or problems with how you left the house. |
We had to implement a few policies to ensure our renters have a safe and enjoyable vacation.
1) The house has a limit of 10 guest.
2) We will hold your dates for 7 days to allow time for you to send in your deposit.
3) We want families looking to have a fun relaxing vacation. We will not rent to groups of partying young people.
4) We require a $500 deposit at the time booking, the actual rental fees are due 45 days prior to check in.
5) We will mail the $500 security deposit within 14 days of checking out minus any damage fees.
6) Renters may leave up to 4 kitchen sized bags of garbage on the house. Any other bags must be taken to the marina dumpster. We even provide garbage bags !!! |
7) Our house is located in Powell Valley Marina but they have no responsibility for the house. Powell Valley charges to park and launch boats. There is a new, well lighted public launch and parking lot 1 mile from the house (it's actually closer to the main road then the marina). We will provide you with additional information before you check in. Many of our renters use the public launch and parking lot. Due to disagreements with the marina we strongly suggest using the public ramp and parking. We can not police our renters and the marina continues to add on excessive charges. Most of our annual increases are additional charges the marina adds every year. It's always something different and comes as a surprise to us every January.
8) No pets. Since it's a floating home there is no place for pets to do their business. We are anxious to keep the house clean and odor free for the enjoyment of all our renters.
9) No smoking in the house. Again, for the enjoyment of all our renters we do not allow smoking. Smoking outside it permitted. |
